Bhatkuli Taluka is a part of Amravati District. The total geographical area of Bhatkuli Taluka is 58,226.94 hectares. According to the 2011 Census, the total population is 1,13,109.
Agriculture is the main source of livelihood in the taluka. Due to the presence of a saline belt, farming here mainly depends on rainfall. The major crops are cotton, pigeon pea (tur), soybean, and chickpea (harbara). The average annual rainfall of the taluka is 762.20 mm. The Phedi and Purna rivers flow through the taluka.

- Rinmochan – Rinmochan is the place of service of Saint Gadgebaba. There is a Mahadev (Shiva) temple on the banks of the Purna River. A fair is held at this location in the month of Paush (December–January).
- Ganojadevi – Ganojadevi has a Mahalakshmi temple. A large fair is organized during the Navratri festival.
- Vaigaon (Shri Kshetra Vaigaon) – There is a Ganpati temple at Vaigaon.
