Under the guidance of Hon. Development Commissioner (Industries) Shri. Deependra Singh Kushwaha and chaired by Hon. Shrimati Shweta Singhal, the District-Level Investment Summit was successfully held on March 11 at Hotel Grand Mehfil, Camp, Amravati. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Hon. District Collector Saurabh Katiyar, who inaugurated the summit. The primary goal of this initiative was to foster an investment-friendly environment and accelerate industrial growth in Amravati.
During the event, 78 proposed industries signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Government of Maharashtra, securing a total investment of ₹2087.31 crore. This substantial investment is expected to create over 5309 job opportunities in Amravati district in the near future.
Hon. District Collector Shri. Saurabh Katiyar encouraged investors to view Amravati as a key investment destination, emphasizing the upcoming PM MITRA Textile Park and improved air connectivity. He highlighted Amravati’s growing prominence in the textile sector.
Hon. Divisional Commissioner Shrimati Shweta Singhal urged investors to ensure that these agreements materialize into real investments, production, and employment, rather than remaining confined to paperwork.
