Duty List

1. Conducting the census and carrying out all related tasks.
2. Collecting information regarding administrative boundary changes within the district and submitting it to the Census Directorate.
3. Gathering data on changes in village names and areas within the district and submitting it to the Census Directorate.
4. Updating the National Population Register (NPR) booklets.
5. Maintaining financial records related to census funds and handling necessary actions.
6. Collecting birth and death registration data from Amravati Municipal Corporation and Zilla Parishad and submitting it to the Census Directorate.
7. Issuing population certificates.
8. Handling matters related to the Right to Information (RTI) on census-related queries, starred questions, and unstarred questions.
